Education Campus Safety & Emergency Preparedness
Protect Your Students
In the event of an emergency, first responders and school security need instant, detailed access to your campus layout. Rapid Responder® helps you collect, organize and securely disseminate this information. Whether a student brings a gun to school or there’s a fire on campus, Rapid Responder displays everything from floor plans and emergency response plans to escape routes and student reunification with parents.
The Most Widely Installed Crisis Managment Systems in Schools Nationwide
Rapid Responder has been implemented in thousands of campuses across the country, and is the most widely deployed school crisis management system. The Washington Association of Sheriff and Police Chiefs (WASPC) and the Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP) have deployed Rapid Responder in public K-12 schools statewide. In addition to providing the technology (fully populated database), Prepared Response is responsible for bringing together all the necessary partners and building team consensus for each school’s emergency plans, and directing the process of developing community-wide crisis readiness.
Prepared Response Provides Support at Every Stage of the Process
Prepared Response’s services include an orientation meeting, collaborative pre-incident planning meetings with school personnel and their responder partners, the digital mapping process, data entry, and training sessions.
Rapid Responder Implementation Process
Prepared Response brings together all key stakeholders -- facility staff, local responders, mental and public health personnel, local government, and safety personnel to build team consensus and develop effective emergency plans and community-wide readiness. The project is managed following a five-step process specifically designed to increase a emergency readiness capacity.
